AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH CAYUGA CENTERS REGARDING THE PROVISION OF CLINICAL PREVENTION SERVICES WITH COMMUNITY AND RECREATIONAL SUPPORTS

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 473 for 2018, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with Cayuga Centers regarding the provision of clinical prevention services with community and recreational supports in an amount not to exceed $231,724 for a term commencing January 1, 2019 and ending December 31, 2019, with two one-year options to renew, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested authorization to enter a renewal agreement with Cayuga Centers, the second and final option to renew, for the provision of clinical prevention services with community and recreational supports for the Intensive Family Support Program that targets at-risk families with children ages birth to five years old, in an amount not to exceed $231,724 for a term commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Cayuga Centers regarding the provision of clinical prevention services with community and recreational supports for the Intensive Family Support Program in an amount not to exceed $231,724 for the term commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
