AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH DEBRINO CAULKING ASSOCIATES, INC. REGARDING EMERGENCY BRICKWORK AND MASONRY REPAIRS AT THE ALBANY COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

WHEREAS, The Sheriff has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with DeBrino Caulking Associates, Inc. regarding emergency brickwork and masonry repairs at the Albany County Correctional Facility in the amount of $504,925 for a term commencing June 12, 2025 and ending May 31, 2026, and
WHEREAS, The Sheriff has indicated the original emergency contract was for $199,999, however, an additional $304,926 was needed for unforeseen work necessary to complete the project, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with DeBrino Caulking Associates, Inc., Castleton, NY 12033 regarding emergency brickwork and masonry repairs at the Albany County Correctional Facility in the amount of $504,925 for a term commencing June 12, 2025 and ending May 31, 2026, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
