DECLARING REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 60 SOUTH PEARL STREET (TAX MAP NO. 76.42-4-23) IN THE CITY OF ALBANY NO LONGER NECESSARY FOR PUBLIC USE

By Audit and Finance Committee:

 

WHEREAS, 60 South Pearl Street (Tax Map No. 76.42-4-23) in the City of Albany is owned by the County of Albany, and

 

WHEREAS, Liberty Park Development, LLC has expressed an interest in acquiring the parcel for economic development purposes, and

 

WHEREAS, Pursuant to § 65-3 of the Albany County Code, a parcel of real property owned by the County of Albany shall be deemed “no longer necessary for public use” prior to any conveyance of said real property, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, That, pursuant to County Law § 215 and § 65-3 of the Albany County Code, the Albany County Legislature hereby declares that the parcel of real property located at 60 South Pearl Street (Tax Map No. 76.42-4-23) in the City of Albany is deemed “no longer necessary for public use,” and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said document as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
