AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 14 FOR 2024 REGARDING THE MODERNIZATION OF ELEVATORS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 14 for 2024, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with Kone, Inc., regarding the modernization of passenger elevators at the Albany County Department of Social Services, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of General Services has requested an amendment to the agreement with Kone, Inc. to account for uncaptured labor costs in an amount not to exceed $251,743 for a term commencing April 1, 2023 and ending March 31, 2026, and
WHEREAS, The Department of General Services and the Purchasing Agent have recommended that the contract be awarded to Kone, Inc. through the Omnia National Cooperative contract, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 14 for 2024 is hereby amended to reflect a revised total amount of $643,395, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
