RESOLUTION NO. 110

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH GREENMAN-PEDERSEN, INC. REGARDING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES FOR DECK REPLACEMENT AND REPAIRS OF THREE BRIDGES LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF NEW SCOTLAND

                     By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. regarding design and construction inspection services for deck replacement and repairs to three bridges located in the Town of New Scotland in an amount not to exceed $140,553 for a term commencing May 1, 2022 and ending October 31, 2023, and

 

WHEREAS, The Department of Public Works, through the County Purchasing Agent, issued a request for proposals for the aforementioned services and seven proposals were received, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Department engineering staff and County Purchasing Agent reviewed said proposals and recommended awarding the contract to Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. as the lowest responsive proposer and on the basis of the best understanding of the scope of the project, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., Albany, NY 12205 regarding design and construction inspection services for deck replacement and repairs to three bridges located in the Town of New Scotland in an amount not to exceed $140,553 for a term commencing May 1, 2022 and ending October 31, 2023, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
