AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH TRINITY ALLIANCE OF THE CAPITAL REGION, INC. REGARDING THE PROVISION OF CLINICAL PREVENTION SERVICES WITH COMMUNITY AND RECREATIONAL SUPPORTS

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region, Inc. for the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports in an amount not to exceed $2,285,627 for a term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2025, with two additional one-year options to renew, and

WHEREAS, DCYF, in collaboration with the Department of Probation and the County Purchasing Agent, issued a request for proposals for Prevention Services and after a scoring process, Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region, Inc. was awarded the contract, and

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region will continue to provide Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports for up to 95 Albany County families with children aged birth through 18 who are at risk of out-of-home placement or are returning from foster care as the result of child abuse or neglect issues, now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region, Inc., Albany, NY 12202 regarding the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports in an amount not to exceed $2,285,627 for a term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2025, with two additional one-year options to renew, and, be it further

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
