AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CAPITAL DISTRICT TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REGARDING PROFESSIONAL TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING AND PLANNING SERVICES

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into a three year agreement with the Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC) regarding professional transportation engineering and planning services for the term commencing April 1, 2021 and ending March 31, 2024 in an amount not to exceed $90,000, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that the CDTC provides the County with technical planning services regarding traffic impact studies and collects transportation related data such as pavement ratings for the County’s non-federal-aid roads which assists in selecting roads to be paved each year, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has also indicated that the CDTC will provide the Department with a Trail Loop Feasibility Study along State Farm Rd. and New Karner Rd. in Albany County, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into a three year agreement with the Capital District Transportation Committee regarding professional transportation engineering and planning services for the term commencing April 1, 2021 and ending March 31, 2024 in an amount not to exceed $90,000, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
