AMENDING THE 2025 SHERIFF'S OFFICE BUDGET: DEPUTY SHERIFF POSITIONS

                     By Public Safety Committee and Lockart:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Albany County Sheriff has requested authorization to amend the 2025 Sheriff’s Office Budget to create five full-time Deputy Sheriff positions to address the additional requested security for Court Security, School Resource Officer and Department of Social Security, and

 

WHEREAS, The Sheriff has indicated that this request is budget-neutral, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, That the 2025 Sheriff’s Office Budget is hereby amended as follows:

 

                     

and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
