AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS WITH ATAMAX EQUIPMENT COMPANY REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF A MAXMOWER WITH INDUSTRIAL BOOM FOR ROADSIDE MOWING

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into agreements with Atmax Equipment Company regarding the purchase of a Maxmower in an amount not to exceed $345,820 for a term commencing June 1, 2026 and ending May 31, 2027, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that a Maxmower is a specialized heavy-duty industrial boom mower designed to manage vegetation on roadsides, slopes, and ditches, and

 

                     WHEREAS, Atmax Equipment Company was the sole bidder, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into agreements with Atmax Equipment Company, Tampa, FL 33619 regarding the purchase of a Maxmower in an amount not to exceed $345,820 for a term commencing June 1, 2026 and ending May 31, 2027, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreements as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
