RESOLUTION NO. 802

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH TYLER TECHNOLOGIES, INC. REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF PERMIT AND WORK AUTHORIZATION TRACKING SOFTWARE AND AMENDING THE 2024 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS BUDGET

                     By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Tyler Technologies, Inc. regarding the purchase of permit and work authorization tracking software in an amount not to exceed $137,094 for the term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2025, and

 

WHEREAS, Tyler Technologies, Inc. is the sole source for this software, which will integrate with MUNIS, the County’s current Enterprise Resource Planning software, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner has also requested to amend the 2024 Department of Public Works Budget in order to allocate the funding for this purchase, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Tyler Technologies, Inc., Yarmouth, ME 04096 regarding the purchase of permit and work authorization tracking software in an amount not to exceed $137,094 for the term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2025, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the 2024 Department of Public Works Budget is amended as follows:

 

 

and, be it further

 

                     

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
