AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 365 FOR 2015 AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO. 172 FOR 2020 REGARDING THE CHILDHOOD LEAD POISONING PRIMARY PREVENTION PROGRAM

 

                     Introduced: 9/13/21

By Health Committee, Messrs. A. Joyce and Miller:

 

                     WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 365 for 2015, this Honorable Body authorized a multi-year agreement with the New York State Department of Health regarding the Childhood Lead Poisoning Primary Prevention Program in the amount of $2,045,440 for the term commencing April 1, 2015 and ending March 31, 2020, and

 

                     WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 172 for 2020, this Honorable Body authorized an amendment to the agreement to reflect an ending date of September 30, 2020, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Albany County Department of Health has requested an amendment to the agreement with the New York State Department of Health in the amount of $613,632 to reflect a new total contract amount of $2,863,616 rather than $2,249,984, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has also requested to amend the agreement to reflect an ending date of September 30, 2021 rather than September 30, 2020, now, therefore be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 365 for 2015 as amended by Resolution No. 172 for 2020 is hereby amended in the amount of $613,632 to reflect a new total contract amount of $2,863,616 rather than $2,249,984, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That Resolution No. 365 for 2015 as amended by Resolution No. 172 for 2020 is also amended to reflect an ending date of September 30, 2021 rather than September 30, 2020, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendments as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
