AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 830 FOR 2024 REGARDING THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS EXPENSES FOR THE 2023 ELECTION CYCLE

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 830 for 2024, this Honorably Body authorized and directs the Albany County Board of Elections to certify the expenses to be borne by any municipalities in Albany County as outlined by Section 4-138 of New York State Election Law, and
WHEREAS, An amendment is necessary to reflect the proper amounts, now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature, that Resolution No. 830 for 2024 is hereby amended as follows:
DELETE the Second Resolved Clause in its entirety, and Replace as follows:
“RESOLVED, The Albany County Legislature authorizes and directs the Albany County Board of Elections to certify to the Clerk of the Legislature such expenses for the year 2023 as follows:
and, be it further”
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Legislature is hereby directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate City, Town, Village, and County Officials.
