AMENDING THE 2025 ALBANY COUNTY BUDGET: JAIL-BASED ADDICTION SERVICES

By Health Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Director of Mental Health has requested an amendment to the 2025 Albany County Budget to transfer $278,450 in New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports pass-through State Aid funds from the Addictions Care Center of Albany (ACCA) to the Sheriff’s Office for jail-based addiction services, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Director has indicated that ACCA is no longer providing jail-based services to the County, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the 2025 Albany County Budget is amended as follows:

 

 

and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
