AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH CDW GOVERNMENT, LLC REGARDING THE ARCTIC WOLF MANAGED DETECTION AND RESPONSE CYBER SECURITY SOFTWARE

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Chief Information Officer has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with CDW Government, LLC regarding the Arctic Wolf Managed Detection and Response Cybersecurity Software in an amount not to exceed $170,379 for a term commencing June 1, 2025 and ending May 31, 2026, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Chief Information Officer has indicated that this solution offers fully managed and hosted security information and event management through a concierge team dedicated to Albany County, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with CDW Government, LLC, Chicago, IL 60675 regarding the Arctic Wolf Managed Detection and Response Cybersecurity Software in an amount not to exceed $170,379 for a term commencing June 1, 2025 and ending May 31, 2026, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
