AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH REJHA GROUP LLC REGARDING TRANSPORTATION FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 400 for 2025, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with Rejha Group LLC regarding transportation services for children with special needs for the term commencing September 1, 2024 and ending August 31, 2025, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested authorization to enter into the second of two one-year options to renew the agreement with Rejha Group LLC regarding transportation services for children with special needs in an amount not to exceed $6,055,416 for the term commencing September 1, 2026 and ending August 31, 2027, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Rejha Group LLC, Albany, NY 12205 regarding transportation services for children with special needs in an amount not to exceed $6,055,416 for the term commencing September 1, 2026 and ending August 31, 2027, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
