AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH PARSONS CHILD AND FAMILY CENTER REGARDING CRISIS INTERVENTION SERVICES

By Health Committee:

 

WHEREAS, The Director of the Department of Mental Health has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Parsons Child and Family Center regarding crisis intervention, recreation, family support, school support, and juvenile justice services for children with mental illness in the amount of $1,056,336 for the term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026, and

 

WHEREAS, The Director has indicated that the aforementioned agreement will be financed via pass-through funding from the New York State Office of Mental Health, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Parsons Child and Family Center, Albany, NY 12208 regarding crisis intervention, recreation, family support, school support, and juvenile justice services for children with mental illness in the amount of $1,056,336 for the term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
