AMENDING THE 2025 DEPARTMENT FOR AGING BUDGET: ALBANY COUNTY COMMUNITY AND SENIOR CENTER

 

                     Introduced: 9/8/25

By Rosano, Laurilliard, Ricard, Conway, McLaughlin, Willingham and Pedo:

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Aging has requested an amendment to the 2025 Department for Aging Budget to create positions and additional budget lines for the creation and maintenance of the Albany County Community and Senior Center, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner indicated that the new Community and Senior Center will repurpose the former St. Rose College campus library, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the 2025 Department for Aging Budget is hereby amended as follows:

 

 

and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
