RESOLUTION NO. 275

 

APPOINTMENT OF AN ALBANY COUNTY CORONER

 

Introduced: 7/13/26

By Feeney, Cunningham, Conway, Gillespie, Lockart, Smith:

 

WHEREAS, There exists a vacancy in the office of Albany County Coroner due to the resignation of Kevin Crosier from his position as an Albany County Coroner, and

 

WHEREAS, County Law § 400 and Albany County Charter § 1903 require that the vacancy be filled by a qualified elector of the County appointed by the County Legislature, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, That Thomas J. Pratt, residing in Menands, NY 12204, is hereby appointed County Coroner for a term commencing immediately and ending January 1, 2027, and be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Legislature is hereby directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County officials.
