AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH TRINITY ALLIANCE OF THE CAPITAL REGION, INC. REGARDING THE PROVISION OF CLINICAL PREVENTION SERVICES WITH COMMUNITY AND RECREATIONAL SUPPORTS

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region, Inc. for the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports in an amount not to exceed $1,643,986 for a term commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2023, with an additional one-year option to renew, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region will continue to provide Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports to eighty Albany County families with children age birth through eighteen, who are at risk of out-of-home placement, or are returning from foster care as the result of child abuse or neglect issues, at the Arbor Hill Center, Colonie Outreach Center, and the Trinity Center in Albany’s South End, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region, Inc., Albany, NY 12202 regarding the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports in an amount not to exceed $1,643,986 for a term commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2023, with an additional one-year option to renew, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
