AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH CORA GROUP, INC. REGARDING A COMPREHENSIVE LEADERSHIP COURSE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

By Health Committee:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 582 for 2024, this Honorable Body authorized the disbursement of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to and an agreement with the Department of Health regarding a comprehensive leadership course in the amount of $150,000 for a term commencing September 9, 2024 and ending December 31, 2026, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Health has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Cora Group, Inc. regarding the purchase of a Comprehensive Leadership Course in an amount not to exceed $150,000 for an 18-month program throughout 2025 and 2026, and

 

WHEREAS, The Department of Health, through the County Purchasing Agent, issued a request for bids regarding leadership courses and recommended awarding the contract to Cora Group, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that the purchase will be made using the aforementioned ARPA funding, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Cora Group, Inc., New York, NY 10010 regarding the purchase of a Comprehensive Leadership Course in an amount not to exceed $150,000 for an 18-month program throughout 2025 and 2026, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
