RESOLUTION NO. 84

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF MOBILE RADIOS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

                     By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Motorola Solutions, Inc. regarding the purchase of forty APX1500 Mobile Radios, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner in collaboration with the County Purchasing Agent, has recommended Motorola Solutions, Inc. using New York State Contract for the purchase of the forty APX1500 Mobile Radios for the Department’s fleet of vehicles, now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Motorola Solutions, Inc., Woodcliff Lake, NJ 07677 regarding the purchase of forty APX1500 Mobile Radios and warranty in an amount not to exceed $102,110 for a term commencing April 1, 2020 and ending May 31, 2020, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
