AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 211 FOR 2021 REGARDING STIMULUS FUNDING FOR THE TITLE III-C-2 HOME DELIVERED MEALS PROGRAM

By Elder Care Committee and Mr. A. Joyce:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 211 for 2021, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Office for the Aging regarding stimulus funding for the Title III-C-2 Home Delivered Meals Program in the amount of $469,632 for the term commencing April 1, 2021 and ending September 30, 2024, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Albany County Department for Aging has requested an amendment to the agreement with the New York State Office for the Aging to indicate a 10% County match requirement, now, therefore be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 211 for 2021 is hereby amended to indicate a 10% County match, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
