AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH TRINITY SERVICES GROUP, INC. REGARDING FOOD SERVICE AND COMMISSARY OPERATIONS AT THE ALBANY COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

WHEREAS, The Sheriff has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Trinity Services Group, Inc. regarding food service and commissary operations at the Albany County Correctional Facility at amounts indicated in the submitted cost proposal for the term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2030 with five one-year options to renew, and
WHEREAS, The Sheriff’s Office, through the County Purchasing Agent, issued a request for proposals regarding food service and commissary operations at the Albany County Correctional Facility and has recommended awarding the contract to Trinity Services Group, Inc. as the sole qualified proposer, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Trinity Services Group, Inc., {City, State Zip} regarding food service and commissary operations at the Albany County Correctional Facility in an amount not to exceed amounts indicated in the submitted cost proposal for the term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2030 with five one-year options to renew, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
