AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 59 FOR 2025, AS AMENDED, REGARDING MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE MVP ARENA LOADING DOCK RENOVATION PROJECT

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 59 for 2025, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with Burniche Piping, Inc., Waterford, NY 12188 regarding mechanical and plumbing construction services for the MVP Arena Loading Dock Renovation Project in an amount not to exceed $444,257 for a term commencing April 1, 2025, and ending March 31, 2027, and
WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 137 for 2026, this Honorable Body authorized an amendment to include the installation of fire sprinklers at no additional cost to the County, and
WHEREAS, An amendment is necessary to reflect an additional $25,789, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 59 for 2025, as amended, is hereby amended to include fire sprinklers at the MVP Arena at an additional cost of $25,789 and that all other terms of the original agreement remain in effect, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
