AUTHORIZING A UTILITY EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH NIAGARA MOHAWK POWER CORPORATION FOR 304 MADISON AVENUE REGARDING REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF THE UNDERGROUND GAS DISTRIBUTION INFRASTRUCTURE

                     By Public Works Committee:

                     

                     WHEREAS, The Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development, Conservation, and Planning has requested authorization to enter into a utility easement agreement with the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation regarding repair and maintenance of the underground gas distribution infrastructure on property located at 304 Madison Avenue in the City of Albany for a fee of $1.00 to remain in effect in perpetuity with the property, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into a utility easement agreement with the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, Syracuse, NY 13202 regarding repair and maintenance of the underground gas distribution infrastructure on property located at 304 Madison Avenue in the City of Albany for a fee of $1.00 to remain in effect in perpetuity with the property, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said utility easement agreement as to form and content, and be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
