AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 245 FOR 2021 REGARDING AGREEMENTS WITH VARIOUS AGENCIES FOR THE FACILITATION OF SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH THE FAMILY FIRST PREVENTION SERVICES ACT

                     By Social Services Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 245 for 2021, this Honorable Body authorized

agreements with New York State Office of Children and Family Services approved Qualified Individuals as licensed clinicians for the facilitation of services associated with the Family First Prevention Services Act, at no cost to the County, for a term commencing September 1, 2021 and ending August 31, 2022, and, be it further

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Albany County Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested an amendment to the aforementioned agreements to indicate that the County will pay $2,000 in the first instance for each face-to-face visit by a licensed clinician with a child in congregate care, to be reimbursed to the County in part by Medicaid and Title IV-E Federal Foster Care funding, now, therefore be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 245 for 2021 regarding agreements with Qualified Individuals is amended to indicate that the County will pay $2,000 in the first instance for each face-to-face visit by a licensed clinician with a child in congregate care, to be reimbursed to the County in part by Medicaid and Title IV-E Federal Foster Care funding, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreements as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
