AUTHORIZING UTILITY EASEMENTS WITH NIAGARA MOHAWK POWER CORPORATION AND VERIZON NEW YORK, INC. REGARDING THE INSTALLATION OF UTILITIES ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 293 LAWSON LAKE ROAD IN THE TOWN OF COEYMANS

                     By Public Works Committee:

                     

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of General Services has requested authorization to enter into utility easement agreements with the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation and Verizon New York, Inc. regarding the installation of utilities on property located at 293 Lawson Lake Road in the Town of Coeymans for a fee of $1.00 to remain in effect in perpetuity, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that this easement is necessary to allow for the installation of utility owned infrastructure necessary to supply electric and communication services to the Lawson Lake Upper Camp, now, therefore, be it

                     

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into utility easement agreements with the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, West Syracuse, NY 13202 and Verizon New York, Inc., New York, NY 10007 regarding the installation of utilities on property located at 293 Lawson Lake Road in the Town of Coeymans for a fee of $1.00 to remain in effect in perpetuity, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said utility easement agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
