AMENDING THE 2023 DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH BUDGET: COMPREHENSIVE OPIOID, STIMULANT, AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM FUNDING

By Health Committee:

 

WHEREAS, The Director of the Department of Mental Health has requested a budget amendment to the 2023 Department of Mental Health Budget to allocate funding from the Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Program grant, and

 

WHEREAS, The Director has indicated that the funding will be used to hire clinical staff to provide psychiatric hours to assist individuals who are currently involved with the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program obtain critical treatment for behavioral health challenges, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, That the 2023 Department of Mental Health Budget is hereby amended as indicated on the spreadsheet annexed hereto, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
