AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS WITH THE CAPITAL REGION WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD AND THE RENSSELAER COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT & TRAINING FOR THE PROVISION OF ONE STOP SYSTEMS OPERATOR SERVICES

WHEREAS, The County Executive has requested authorization to enter into agreements with the Capital Region Workforce Development Board (WDB) and the Rensselaer County Department of Employment & Training in order to allow the County of Albany to continue in its role as One Stop System Operator in an amount not to exceed $4,800, for a term commencing October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, 2021, and
WHEREAS, The County Executive has indicated that, due to the inability of the WDB to find an outside partner to fill the role of One Stop System Operator, the WDB has requested that the County of Albany continue in such role, and
WHEREAS, The County Executive has also requested a budget amendment to incorporate this funding into the 2020 County Executive Budget, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into agreements with the Capital Region Workforce Development Board, Albany, NY 12206 and the Rensselaer County Department of Employment & Training, Troy, NY 12180 in order to allow Albany County to continue in its role as One Stop System Operator in an amount not to exceed $4,800, for a term commencing October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, 2021, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the 2020 County Executive Budget is amended as follows:
Decrease Revenue Account A2770 Other Revenue by $4,800
Increase Appropriation Account A1230.4 by $4,800 by increasing Line Item A1230 4 4046 Fees for Services by $4,800
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreements as to form and content, and, be it further
