AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF THE DIOCESE OF ALBANY REGARDING CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSISTED DIVERSION PROGRAM

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Management and Budget has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany regarding case management services for the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) Program in the amount of $234,699 for the term commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2025, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany will provide LEAD case management services in the cities of Albany, Cohoes, and Watervliet, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany, Albany, NY 12203 regarding case management services for the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion Program in the amount of $234,699 for the term commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2025, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
