RESOLUTION NO. 119

 

AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 41 BOGHT ROAD (TAX MAP NO. 32.2-2-16) IN THE TOWN OF COLONIE

 

                     Introduced: 3/9/20

                     By Audit and Finance Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The County of Albany has acquired through in rem foreclosure title to a parcel of real property located at 41 Boght Road (Tax Map No. 32.2-2-16) in the Town of Colonie, and

 

WHEREAS Leonard G. St. Gelais, an abutting property owner has expressed an interest in acquiring this parcel for $700, and

 

WHEREAS, Revisions to the County’s Real Property Disposition Plan approved by Resolution No. 453 for 2015 implemented procedures for properties to be sold to abutting property owners, now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to execute on behalf of the County any documents necessary to convey property located at 41 Boght Road (Tax Map No. 32.2-2-16) in the Town of Colonie for $700 to the Leonard G. St. Gelais, 137 Bought Road, Watervliet 12189 and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said conveyance as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
