AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH VERICOR, LLC REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF HOSPITAL INCIDENT COMMAND STATIONS TO BE USED AT POP-UP POINT OF DISPENSING SITES

By Health Committee:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 663 for 2023, this Honorable Body authorized the disbursement of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to and an agreement with the Department of Health regarding the Public Health Data Analytics Program in the amount of $99,000 for a term commencing December 4, 2023 and ending December 31, 2026, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Health has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with VeriCor, LLC regarding the purchase of five Hospital Incident Command Stations to be used by the Department of Health at pop-up Point of Dispensing sites in an amount not to exceed $35,735, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that VeriCor, LLC is the sole source for this product, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has also indicated that the purchase will be made using the aforementioned ARPA funding, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with VeriCor, LLC, Holmen, WI 54636 regarding the purchase of five Hospital Incident Command Stations to be used by the Department of Health at pop-up Point of Dispensing sites in an amount not to exceed $35,735, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
