AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH SYNTECH SYSTEMS, INC. REGARDING THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF THE FM LIVE CLOUD-BASED FUEL MONITORING SYSTEM

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Syntech Systems, Inc. regarding the purchase and installation of the FM Live cloud-based fuel monitoring system in an amount not to exceed $112,613 for a term commencing June 1, 2024 and ending June 1, 2025, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that the FM Live cloud-based fuel monitoring system will allow the Department to more efficiently monitor fuel levels and execute fuel-related billing for the Berne, Coeymans, Colonie, Knox, Voorheesville, Rensselaerville, and Westerlo substations, and

 

WHEREAS, The Department, using the Sourcewell national purchasing cooperative contract, has recommended Syntech Systems, Inc. for the purchase and installation of the FM Live cloud-based fuel monitoring system, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Syntech Systems, Inc., Tallahassee, FL 32305 regarding the purchase and installation of the FM Live cloud-based fuel monitoring system in an amount not to exceed $112,613 for a term commencing June 1, 2024 and ending June 1, 2025, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
