AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 792 FOR 2024 WITH NATIONAL GRID ELECTRIC SERVICES, LLC REGARDING THE INSTALLATION OF A ROOFTOP SOLAR ARRAY AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS AT THE MVP ARENA PARKING GARAGE

By Audit and Finance Committee:
WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 792 for 2024, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with National Grid Electric Services, LLC regarding the installation of a rooftop solar array and electric vehicle charging stations at the MVP Arena Parking Garage in an amount not to exceed of $7,921,747, and
WHEREAS, The County Executive has indicated that an amendment to the agreement is necessary related to the unanticipated relocation of an existing sanitary line, in an additional amount not to exceed $96,130, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature, that Resolution No. 792 for 2024 is hereby amended to reflect an additional $96,130 in project costs related to the relocated of the sanitary line, and that the total project amount shall be in the amount of $8,017,877, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
