AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW YORK STATE COALITION AGAINST SEXUAL ASSAULT REGARDING SEXUAL ASSAULT SERVICES PROGRAM FUNDING

WHEREAS, The Director of the Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with the New York State Coalition Against Sexual Assault regarding Sexual Assault Services Program funding in the amount of $12,350 for the term commencing July 1, 2023 and ending November 30, 2024, and
WHEREAS, The Director indicated that the funding will be used to provide clinical and court advocacy services to victims of sexual assault with limited English proficiency, including refugees and immigrants, who live in Albany County, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with the New York State Coalition Against Sexual Assault, Troy, NY 12180 regarding Sexual Assault Services Program funding in the amount of $12,350 for the term commencing July 1, 2023 and ending November 30, 2024, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
