AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH DLC ELECTRIC, LLC REGARDING ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION FOR THE SHERIFF’S EMERGENCY 911 COMMUNICATIONS CENTER

 

                     Introduced: 9/13/21

                     By Public Works Committee and Mr. A. Joyce:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Albany County Sheriff has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with DLC Electric, LLC regarding electrical construction for the Sheriff’s Emergency 911 Communications Center located at 58 Verda Avenue in the Hamlet of Clarksville in the Town of New Scotland in an amount not to exceed $1,589,000 for a term commencing September 15, 2021 and ending March 14, 2023, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Sheriff’s Office, through the Purchasing Department, issued a Request for Bids for the new Sheriff’s Emergency 911 Communications Center project, and eight bids were received, and

 

                     WHEREAS, After a review of the bids the Department has recommended awarding the contract to DLC Electric, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder, now, therefore be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with DLC Electric, LLC, Troy, NY 12182 regarding electrical construction for the Sheriff’s Emergency 911 Communications Center located at 58 Verda Avenue in the Hamlet of Clarksville in the Town of New Scotland in an amount not to exceed $1,589,000 for a term commencing September 15, 2021 and ending March 14, 2023, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
