AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 469 FOR 2022, AS AMENDED, REGARDING THE ABSENTEE BALLOT PRE-PAID POSTAGE GRANT

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 469 for 2022, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Board of Elections regarding the Absentee Ballot Pre-Paid Postage Grant in the amount of $65,230, and
WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 431 for 2023, this Honorable Body authorized an amendment to the agreement to reflect a new amount of $130,599 and a term ending date of March 31, 2024, and
WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 569 for 2024, this Honorable Body authorized an additional amendment to the agreement to reflect a term ending date of March 31, 2025, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioners of the Board of Elections have requested to further amend the agreement to reflect a term ending date of March 31, 2027, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 469 for 2022, as amended, is hereby further amended to reflect a term ending date of March 31, 2027, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
