AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH ST. CATHERINE’S CENTER FOR CHILDREN REGARDING CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSISTED DIVERSION PROGRAM

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Social Services has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with St. Catherine’s Center for Children regarding Case Management Services related to the County’s Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program in an amount not to exceed $226,900 for a term commencing October 1, 2025 and ending September 30, 2026, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that the LEAD Program is an important component of law enforcement’s efforts to curb juvenile delinquency, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with St. Catherine’s Center for Children, Albany, NY 12203, regarding Case Management Services related to the County’s Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program in an amount not to exceed $226,900 for a term commencing October 1, 2025 and ending September 30, 2026, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
