AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH PARSONS CHILD AND FAMILY CENTER REGARDING THE PROVISION OF CLINICAL PREVENTION SERVICES WITH COMMUNITY AND RECREATIONAL SUPPORTS

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Albany County Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Parsons Child and Family Center regarding the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports in an amount not to exceed $1,442,837 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022, with two one-year options to renew, and
WHEREAS, Parsons Child and Family Center’s Clinical Prevention Services Program with Community and Recreational Supports provides comprehensive clinical case management and family support services to Albany County residents to effectively address the issues that place children and youth at risk for foster care, residential placement, and detention, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Parsons Child and Family Center, Albany, NY 12208 regarding the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports in an amount not to exceed $1,442,837 for the term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022, with two one-year options to renew, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
