AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH JOHNSON CONTROLS, INC. REGARDING HVAC PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR CHILLERS AT THE COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING AND THE JUDICIAL CENTER

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of General Services has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Johnson Controls, Inc. regarding HVAC Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Services for chillers at the County Office Building and Judicial Center in an amount not to exceed $260,430 for a term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2027, and

 

WHEREAS, The Department, through the Purchasing Agent, issued a request for bids for HVAC preventative maintenance and emergency services and six bids were received, and

 

WHEREAS, After a review of said bids, the Department has recommended Johnson Controls, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Johnson Controls, Inc., Clifton Park, NY 12065 regarding HVAC Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Services for chillers at the County Office Building and Judicial Center in an amount not to exceed $260,430 for a term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2027, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
