AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH CAYUGA CENTERS REGARDING THE PROVISION OF JUVENILE JUSTICE PREVENTION SERVICES

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Albany County Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Cayuga Centers for the provision of Juvenile Justice Prevention Services in an amount not to exceed $578,947 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022, with two one-year options to renew, and
WHEREAS, Cayuga Centers has proposed the implementation of Multisystem Therapy, a well-supported evidence based program to help support the complex needs of families and youth at risk of further penetrating the juvenile justice system and entering foster care, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Cayuga Centers, Auburn, NY 13021 regarding the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports in an amount not to exceed $578,947 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022, with two one-year options to renew, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
