RESOLUTION NO. 96

 

AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS REGARDING THE EXPANDED IN-HOME SERVICES FOR THE ELDERLY PROGRAM

By Social Services Committee:

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Social Services has requested authorization to enter into agreements with 11 New York State (NYS) approved service providers regarding the Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Program (EISEP) in an amount not to exceed $1,192,400 for the term commencing April 1, 2026 and ending March 31, 2027, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that the providers will administer EISEP services for eligible seniors to allow them to remain in their homes, thus precluding or delaying more costly nursing home care, now, therefore, be it      

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into agreements with the following 11 NYS approved providers regarding EISEP services in an amount not to exceed $1,192,400 for the term commencing April 1, 2026 and ending March 31, 2027:

 

Accent Health Care

Consumer Directed Choices

Adept Health Care Services

Marquis Home Care

All Metro Home Care

Maxim of New York, LLC

Any-Time Home Care

Unlimited Care, Inc.

Attentive Care of Albany, Inc.

Visiting Nurses Home Care

Community Home Healthcare

 

 

and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreements as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
