RESOLUTION NO. 592

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH BPI MECHANICAL SERVICES, INC. REGARDING HVAC AND BOILER PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR CERTAIN COUNTY BUILDINGS

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of General Services has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with BPI Mechanical Services, Inc. regarding HVAC and Boiler Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Services at certain County Buildings in an amount not to exceed $391,014 for a term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2027, and

 

WHEREAS, The Department, through the Purchasing Agent, issued a request for bids for HVAC and Boiler preventative maintenance and emergency services and six bids were received, and

 

WHEREAS, After a review of said bids, the Department has recommended BPI Mechanical Services as the lowest responsible bidder relative to HVAC at the County Office Building, Health Department/Board of Elections Building, Judicial Building, County Court House, and Hall of Records, as well as boiler maintenance and emergency services for the Social Services Building, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with BPI Mechanical Services, Inc., Latham, NY 12110 regarding HVAC and Boiler Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Services at certain County Buildings in an amount not to exceed $391,014 for a term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2027, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
