AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW YORK STATE OFFICE FOR THE PREVENTION OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE REGARDING THE ENOUGH IS ENOUGH PROGRAM

WHEREAS, The Director of the Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence regarding the Enough is Enough program in the amount of $415,284 for the term commencing May 1, 2026 and ending April 30, 2029, and
WHEREAS, The Director has indicated that this funding supports direct services to survivors of sexual assault, domestic and relationship violence, human trafficking, stalking, and related crimes on college campuses throughout the County as well as campus-based awareness initiatives, violence prevention programming, and educational outreach activities, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence regarding the Enough is Enough program in the amount of $415,284 for the term commencing May 1, 2026 and ending April 30, 2029, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
