RESOLUTION NO. 524

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH BPI PIPING FOR MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES REGARDING THE SHAKER PLACE REHABILITATION AND NURSING CENTER CHILD DAY CARE CENTER PROJECT

                     By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Executive Director of the Department of Residential Health Care Facilities has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with BPI Piping for mechanical construction services regarding the Shaker Place Child Day Care Project in an amount not to exceed $709,170 for a term commencing December 31, 2022 and ending December 31, 2024, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Executive Director and the Albany County Purchasing Agent issued a Request for Bids for the Shaker Place Child Day Care Project, and

 

WHEREAS, The Executive Director and the County Purchasing Agent have reviewed four bids and recommended awarding the contract to BPI Piping as the lowest responsible bidder, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with BPI Piping, Waterford, NY 12188 for mechanical construction services regarding the Shaker Place Child Day Care Project in an amount not to exceed $709,170 for a term commencing term commencing December 31, 2022 and ending December 31, 2024, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
