AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 425 FOR 2024 REGARDING ESTABLISHING A STANDARD WORKDAY FOR RETIREMENT REPORTING PURPOSES

WHEREAS, The New York State Employees’ Retirement System requires that a standard workday be established for all County of Albany employees, including elected and appointed officials, for retirement reporting purposes, and
WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 425 for 2024, this Honorable Body established such a standard workday for retirement reporting purposes, and,
WHEREAS, An amendment is necessary in order to reflect the actual accruals for certain members, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature, that Resolution No. 425 for 2024 is hereby amended to reflect a revised Records of Activity for the following individuals:

and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Albany County Legislature hereby establishes the above as standard work days for its elected officials and appointed officials and will report days worked to the New York State and Local Employees’ Retirement System as per the requirements of the Office of the New York State Comptroller and as indicated in documents filed with the Clerk of the Legislature based on the time keeping system or the record of activities maintained for three consecutive months and submitted to the Clerk of the Legislature, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
