AUTHORIZING RENEWAL OF AN AGREEMENT WITH CAYUGA CENTERS REGARDING THE PROVISION OF CLINICAL PREVENTION SERVICES WITH COMMUNITY AND RECREATIONAL SUPPORTS

                     By Social Services Committee:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 606 for 2024 this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with Cayuga Centers regarding the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports with two one-year options to renew, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) has requested authorization to exercise the first renewal option with Cayuga Centers for the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports, in an amount not to exceed $301,621 for a term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026, with one additional one-year option to renew, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that Cayuga Centers will continue to provide Clinical Prevention Services through their Family Support Program that targets at-risk families with children aged birth to 18 years old who have the highest admissions to foster care and an acute need for services, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to exercise the first renewal option with Cayuga Centers, Auburn, NY 13021 regarding the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports, in an amount not to exceed $301,621 for a term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026, with one additional one-year option to renew, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
