AUTHORIZING A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH THE BLANCHARD-CURREY AMERICAN LEGION POST 1040 REGARDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A CONNECTOR PATH

WHEREAS, The Albany County Executive has requested authorization to enter into a license agreement with the Blanchard-Currey American Legion Post 1040 regarding the construction of a connector path between the Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail and the Legion Post parking lot and the designation of six parking spaces located therein in an amount not to exceed $11,000, and
WHEREAS, The connector will improve accessibility to the Rail Trail and further integrate connectivity and access within the community, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into a license agreement with the Blanchard-Currey American Legion Post 1040, Delmar, NY 12054 regarding the construction of a connector path between the Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail and the Legion Post parking lot and the designation of six parking spaces located therein in an amount not to exceed $11,000, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
