AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH TOGETHER FOR YOUTH REGARDING THE PROVISION OF FAMILY ASSESSMENT INTERVENTION SERVICES

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Together for Youth regarding the provision of Family Assessment Intervention Services in an amount not to exceed $325,000 for a term commencing August 1, 2026 and ending July 31, 2027, and
WHEREAS, This program uses a trauma-informed, culturally competent, and strength-based approach to working with families, and works collaboratively with County representatives and community providers to help divert youth from detention, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Together for Youth, Canaan, NY 12029 regarding the provision of Family Assessment Intervention Services in an amount not to exceed $325,000 for a term commencing August 1, 2026 and ending July 31, 2027, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
