AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS WITH VARIOUS ALBANY COUNTY MUNICIPALITIES FOR THE PROVISION OF YOUTH BUREAU SERVICES

WHEREAS, Due to New York State regulatory changes, local youth bureaus have full responsibility regarding the payment of municipal claims out of the annual State Aid allocation to the County from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested authorization to enter into agreements with the following Albany County municipalities in the amounts listed below in an amount not to exceed $96,500 regarding the provision of youth bureau services for a term commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021:

now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into agreements with the aforementioned Albany County municipalities in the amounts listed above in total not to exceed $96,500, regarding the provision of youth bureau services for a term commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreements as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
